Green Tea Lowers Cholesterol

Green teaThere are so many ways green tea can improve your health, and cholesterol lowering is certainly one of them.

Chinese cardiovascular researchers  recently compared 14 studies into the cholesterol-lowering properties of green tea, both the drink and the extract used in the supplement industry.  They found significant effects in lowering total cholesterol and LDL (the bad cholesterol).

You may already have read about other benefits of green tea such as preventing influenza, and even certain types of cancer.  High in antioxidants, no calories. Got to be a winner.
